Mark Healey’s New Baseball Project

Posted on Updated on

I have been spending a lot of time and energy over the last several years trying to establish a baseball-only destination for the well-rounded baseball fan.  I’m proud of Gotham Baseball, which continues to cover the New York baseball scene in its own unique fashion. But to really create a national baseball site that can serve its readership as it deserves, the efforts of many are needed.

Over the last few months I have been in negotiation with a group well-versed in developing valuable sports properties to produce a new baseball site. These new partners will be handling the business and marketing operations of the new project.  I will direct all of the editorial and broadcast operations for the new site; concentrating on what I do best.

It is my intent to build a diverse and creative staff of baseball writers to rival as well as complement the best baseball sites on the ‘Net.

If you are interested in becoming a contributor to this project, be it writing, editing, proofreading, photos, art / illustration, public/media relations, logo design, video production, or podcasting, please contact me at heals9@gmail.com to learn more.

Mark Healey is an editor, writer and broadcaster who loves baseball. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of “Going 9 Baseball” and the host of “Going 9 Fantasy Baseball” on SiriusXM’s Fantasy Sports Radio (Sirius 210, XM 87).
